Have you heard enough lies in the 21st century?

January 27 is Lewis Carroll's birthday. As an alternative to "Rabbit Hole Day", try actually doing or experiencing something surreal and fantastic, to the extent that reality allows (which may be more than you realize), and then tell us all about it.

This is easy for me to say because, as it happens, I'm covered. I'm going to see a Shakespearean horror magic show.

The only possibilities jumping to my mind are dangerous and/or expensive. Guess I'd better give it some more thought before the day comes.

See, I imagine the conversation after the show will probably be more surreal and fantastic then the show itself.

Speaking of which, is there/does there need to be any plans beyond "Meet up outside of the theater before the show then watch the show?"

Is this Teller's version of MacBeth?

I didn't know that such a fanciful holiday exists, but I think I'm covered, with bonus points.

That would be... Sunday. I'm going to Staten Island. Surreal enough? Probably not.

Soooooo tempted now to confront that damn street preacher downtown with a bullhorn and a copy of the "Wichita Vortex Sutra."

Sweet! I'll have to take a camera and post a trip write-up. [info]roaminrob and I are going snow camping, quite probably in the middle of a miserable blizzard.

I know this comes up short in comparison to what you got up to today, but the best I could manage was watching Heavy Metal, which I hope you agree is at least somewhat surreal and fantastic.

I saw a performance of the San Jose Taiko Drummers at Further Confusion. How's that?
